Teams

The Inserm CIC-EC (CIC 1433 clinical epidemiology) of Nancy, is supported by the Inserm, the University Hospital of Nancy, and the University of Lorraine. This research unit focuses on topics such as osteoarthritis, cardiovascular diseases epidemiology, nephrology and neurology, with an expertise in:

 1. Evaluations of diseases risks, diagnosis, prognosis using registries or cohorts studies

2. Evaluations of innovative strategies and medico-economic assessment​ 

3. Psychometrics studies to develop patient reported outcome measurement scales (PROMS) assessing quality of life,fatigue, compliance, satisfaction with care …    

 

The Research unit EA 4360 APEMAC « Chronic diseases, perceived health and adjustment processes. Epidemiological and psychological approaches », school of public health, Nancy-University, includes 3 teams of complementary disciplines (epidemiology, biostatistics, health psychology):

- Team 1 "Measure and chronic diseases" (Paris Descartes University)

- Team 2 "Dimensions and psychological determinants of health and diseases" (University of Lorraine)

- Team 3 "Measure and complex intervention in health" (University of Lorraine)

This configuration is unique in France and the original interdisciplinary approach contributes to increase knowledge and to promote applications in research and in practice of prevention and care.
